Announcing Google Cloud Storage JSON API General Availability
Tuesday, May 6, 2014
Today we are pleased to announce General Availability of the
Google Cloud Storage JSON API
. This means it is now covered by the Google Cloud Storage
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
and deprecation policy. In other words, it’s ready for prime time! This release, v1, replaces the previous, experimental release, v1beta2.
The Google Cloud Storage JSON API provides equivalent functionality to the
XML API
, but offers better integration with Google’s API client libraries. It also extends functionality by offering features not available in the XML API such as
request batching
and
object change notifications
.
