2014 Year in Review: Launch of Zones in Asia Pacific
Friday, December 26, 2014
Today’s post is the latest installation in our 2014 Google Cloud Platform Year in Review. Every day until January, we will be featuring a different Googler sharing their highlight from the past year in Cloud Platform.
The Asia Pacific region saw a ton of growth in 2014, but my favorite event this year was the launch of the data center in Taiwan in May. The expansion of this region has also led to many conversations with analysts and customers in both Taipei and Tokyo, as there’s nothing better than being able to talk directly to local Google teams. Check out some sizzle videos of the APAC expansion events here and here.
