2014 Year in Review: Meeting face-to-face in Europe
Sunday, December 28, 2014
Today’s post is the latest installation in our 2014 Google Cloud Platform Year in Review. Every day until January, we will be featuring a different Googler sharing their highlight from the past year in Cloud Platform.
Communicating online may be efficient, but it’s more rewarding to meet in person. In 2014, the Europe, Middle East and Africa Google Cloud Platform team attended more than 130 events to support and learn from the developer community. A personal highlight was participating in
the Web Summit in Dublin
, where we got to meet and help many of the thousands of startups exhibiting or attending. In support of these entrepreneurs, we offered over 100 personal mentorship sessions, as well as workshops, Cloud Platform credits, and the best coffee at the Web Summit. Until we meet again!
